High School Conference

High School Conference (HSC) is our main winter quarter event. Started in the 1991-1992 academic school year, High School Conference’s purpose is to introduce Filipin@-American high school students to the resources necessary for them to attend higher education, and to expose them to the social and political issues surrounding the Filipin@-American community in UCSD and in the greater San Diego area. KP’s HSC is one of the most successful high school conferences within in California, with high attendance rates and a strong program that includes funcilitator mentoring, workshops, a talent show, and a dance. HSC is funded by UCSD the Student Promoted Access Center for Education & Service (SPACES).
